Sophia's preschool Christmas party!!

Sophia was so excited for her Christmas party at Wee school! She kept telling mommy she was going to have a Christmas party at school for baby Jesus. It was so much fun to see Sophia and all her classmates having so much fun together!

Now it was time to work off some of that sugar with a song and dance of jingle bells!

Trick or Treat! Sophia was soooo excited to go trick or treating that she couldn't even wait until it got dark! So I decided to take her to the neighbors house that we know first. The first stop they were handing out Reese's peanut butter cups, and Sophia said "No thanks, I allergic" so they gave her a tangerine instead and she was so thrilled. She carried that tangerine around for days! We spent a hour and a half going door to door saying "trick or treat"! It was so much fun. Sophia loved looking in all the houses for kitty cats and doggies. When she would see one she would get so excited. It was fun to watch Sophia trick or treat for the first time. She didn't even care about the candy, she just liked knocking on the doors! Can't wait to do it again next year!

Earlier that day Toys R' Us was having some halloween fun for the kids so I took Sophia. They had a parade with Jeffrey and gave out goodie bags. Sophia had a blast. After the parade she got to ride the Dumbo!

That morning we went to a food free halloween festival. It was wonderful to be able to take Sophia trick or treating and not have to worry about peanuts! While we were there Sophia got to play lots of games, get a tattoo, hear some stories, color and even play musical chairs with the big kids! She didn't really know what she was doing but she had fun anyway!

One of Sophia's favorite things to do it jump on my ottoman and sing princess songs as she watches herself in the mirror! It is so funny to watch her. She twirls around and sings pretty songs. I tell her to be careful because if she falls Grammy will spank mommy for letting her do that.

Cousin Bella's birthday party!

This afternoon we went to Bella's 4th birthday party. Sophia was so excited to put her party dress on and twirl the evening away at the park. As soon as we arrived Sophia was so anxious to go find her cousin and play with her. They played on the swing and on the slides and in the sand all evening long. Sophia had a ball! When it came time for Bella to open presents Sophia thought they were for her and she kept saying "present mommy, present" over and over again so I had to take her away so she couldn't see all the princess toys Bella was opening. Sophia did get a ballerina Barbie from her pop and 2 Barbies from her cousin Kristie and she was so happy! She loves Barbie! Sophia had a blast and talked about getting to play with the little kids all the way home!

Sophia's first full week of school!!

Today begins Sophia's first full week of school! This is teddy bear week so all the kids were asked to bring their favorite teddy bear to school and Sophia decides to pick her Rainbow care bear! She was so excited that she got to take her bear in today for show and tell. On the long drive to school she was telling her bear all about what they were going to do at school. Upon arrival at school, Sophia was greeted by Miss Allison and she proceeded to tell her all about her teddy bear! She was so excited to go play with the other kiddos that she didn't even have time to wave bye bye to mommy! When I picked her up from school she was exhausted but not too tired to tell mommy all about her day! Miss Allison said that Sophia was so sweet and well mannered and that she was deeply concerned when the other children were upset and she would try to comfort them! That's my girl!

Sophia's first week of school comes to a close!

Friday was Sophia's second day of school. She was so excited to get there that she really didn't want to stop to pose for pictures but mommy insisted! When we got to church she knew just which classroom was hers and she went running right in to get started on her art project. Today she made mommy a beautiful collage of clothes glued on paper. For snack they must have given her doughnuts because that is all she could talk about when I picked her up! Sophia had never had a doughnut before and I am sure she thought it was yummy! I went to school early to spy on her through the window and she was sitting next to another little girl showing off what she created out of playdough. They also had music class today and she sang the whole way home. Mommy couldn't quite make out what song she was singing but it sure was beautiful!!
Next week begins Sophia's first full week of school! She can't wait!

I finally got a smile out of her when I told her this would be the last one then we would be off!

Sophia's first day back to preschool

Today was Sophia's first day back to preschool. She was so excited to get to school that she wouldn't even eat her breakfast. She just kept telling mommy to hurry, hurry as I was driving to school. She was greeted by her two teachers Miss Emily and Miss Allison. They were so excited to see her and told her all about the new dress up clothes they had just for little girls! Today was show and tell and the theme was blankets, so Sophia brought her favorite Barbie blanket to share with all the other little boys and girls. She made mommy a beautiful piece of quilt artwork that is proudly being displayed on the refrigerator! When I went to pick her up she was coloring with all the other little kiddos but of coarse Sophia had a tutu on! It was so cute! She is already looking forward to going back to play on Friday!!

On the way there mommy thought it would be fun to sing songs together. Sophia didn't think so...she wanted to sing all by herself so she held her ears and told mommy "don't sing mommy, don't sing"!

After playing all day mommy thought it would be nice to take Sophia to McDonalds. She was so exhausted she could barely eat.

But as soon as she got some food in her belly she was all smiles and ready to go some more!
